CBS’ ‘Tracker’ Sees Departures Of Series Regulars Eric Graise and Abby McEnany Ahead Of Season 3

The CBS television show Tracker, centered around missing persons cases, has recently seen a reduction in its cast.

As TVLine, a sister site of Deadline, reported yesterday, the show starring Justin Hartley will be moving forward without two of its regulars. Eric Graise, who played tech guru Bobby Exley, and Abby McEnany, who portrayed operations manager Velma Bruin, have exited the show. This leaves Hartley’s character, Colter Shaw, and Fiona Rene’s character, attorney Reenie Green, to lead the series into its third season. Robin Weigert, who played Velma’s spouse Teddi Bruin and was critical to the backend operations of Shaw’s team, departed the show after its first season.

Tracker is adapted from the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver, and features Hartley as Colter Shaw. Shaw is depicted as a survivalist who travels across the country seeking rewards for solving various mysteries using his advanced tracking skills, all while dealing with his own complex family dynamics, according to the series’ synopsis.

Tracker has proven to be a significant draw for CBS, ranking in the Top 5 of Nielsen’s 35-day most-watched shows across all platforms and types of series this past May, competing closely with Matlock. According to CBS, it also holds the top spot among broadcast shows.

The series was renewed by CBS in February, alongside other popular dramas like Elsbeth, Fire Country, and the three NCIS series. The gripping finale of Season 2 saw Colter Shaw finally confronting the man responsible for his father’s murder, which in turn unleashed a slew of new mysteries, including the involvement of his mother in the incident.
