At the 30th annual Art Directors Guild Awards held at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown on Saturday, notable films such as Warner Bros’ One Battle After Another, Netflix’s Frankenstein and KPop Demon Hunters, and Disney/Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps received top honors. Below is the complete list of winners.
The production designers from Frankenstein and One Battle After Another are set to compete for the Best Production Design Oscar in two weeks. They will be up against the teams from Best Picture nominees like Sinners, Hamnet, and Marty Supreme.

Since its inception in 1996, the ADG Awards have often been a precursor to the Oscars, with 20 out of 29 Art Direction/Production Design Oscar winners first receiving an ADG Award, including the 2025 winners for Wicked.
Kasra Farahani caused a stir by clinching the Fantasy Feature prize for The Fantastic Four: First Steps at Disney/Marvel, outpacing films like Avatar: Fire and Ash and Wicked: For Good.
KPop Demon Hunters snagged the Animated Feature award, continuing its successful streak after dominating the Annie Awards and securing both a VES Award and Eddie Award recently.

Three series from Apple TV+ garnered awards tonight. Julie Berghoff won the Half Hour Single Camera Series award for The Studio, Jeremy Hindle took home the One-Hour Contemporary Single-Camera Series award for Severance, and Jon Carlos won for the Period Single-Camera Series award with Palm Royale.
Luke Hull received the One-Hour Fantasy Series award for Disney+’s Andor, which had also recently won at the VES Awards. Hull was working in the UK and could not attend the ADG event.
Glenda Rovello from Hulu’s Mid-Century Modern won the Multi-Camera Series award.
The team of Akira Yoshimura, Keith Ian Raywood, N. Joseph De Tullio, and Andrea Purcigliott won the Variety or Reality Series award for an episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live hosted by Lady Gaga, with an additional win for the SNL 50: The Anniversary Special.
Monster: The Ed Gein Story‘s Matthew Flood Ferguson was honored for TV Movie or Limited Series.
The evening also included several special honors. Wicked and Wicked: For Good director Jon M. Chu was presented the 2026 Cinematic Imagery Award by Awkwafina, a star from his movie Crazy Rich Asians. Chu’s career includes blockbusters and various other projects including the upcoming Hot Wheels film.
Rep. Laura Friedman (D-CA) was awarded the inaugural President’s Award for her continuous support and advocacy for the entertainment industry, including supporting good union jobs and advocating for tax incentives.
Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to industry legends such as Jann Engel, known for her work on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Avengers: Endgame, and Thomas E. Sanders, posthumously honored and inducted into the ADG Hall of Fame for his iconic work on films like Saving Private Ryan and Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Bo Welch, noted for his work on films like Men in Black and The Color Purple, received a career honor, presented by director Barry Sonnenfeld. Scenic artist Stephen McNally and storyboard artist Tom Southwell were also recognized for their extensive contributions to film and television.

The In Memoriam segment honored several industry professionals we lost in the past year, and the event was hosted by comedian Ron Funches, celebrating the art of production design across various media.
