F1 & KPop Demon Hunters Win Big at CAS Awards; Top TV Prizes to The Pitt & The Studio – Full List

At the 62nd CAS Awards held on Saturday, Warner Bros’ F1 and Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters emerged as major winners in the film categories, securing awards for Live Action and Animated Motion Picture respectively. Below is a complete list of the night’s winners.

The racing film F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski and featuring Brad Pitt, recently won the Best Sound category at the BAFTA Film Awards and is a contender for the same category at the upcoming Oscars. It competes with other notable films like Frankenstein, One Battle After Another, Sinners, and Sirāt.

The animated hit KPop Demon Hunters, which stands as Netflix’s most-watched movie ever, continues its impressive run through this awards season, following a complete sweep of last month’s Annie Awards with wins in all ten categories.

In television, the HBO Max drama The Pitt and Apple TV’s The Studio maintained their streaks of accolades, winning for Television Series – One Hour and Half Hour respectively. Netflix’s highly acclaimed Adolescence clinched the award for Non-Theatrical Motion Picture or Limited Series.

Musical documentaries also had their moment, with Becoming Led Zeppelin winning in the Motion Picture Documentary category and the HBO miniseries Billy Joel: And So It Goes taking home the award for Television Non-Fiction, Variety or Music – Series or Specials.

Special recognitions were also a highlight of the evening. Guillermo del Toro, known for Frankenstein, was honored with the Cinema Audio Society Filmmaker Award, while Oscar-winner Skip Lievsay received the CAS Career Achievement Award for his work in sound mixing.
