The verdict is in: Hamnet has clinched the title of Best Picture at the 25th annual Movies for Grownups Awards, hosted by AARP.
The awards gala occurred this past Saturday at the Beverly Wilshire, showcasing 2025’s films that resonated most with the 50+ audience. The event was emceed by Alan Cumming.
This year’s ceremony highlighted films such as One Battle After Another, Jay Kelly, and Sentimental Value, and celebrated the achievements of stars like George Clooney, Laura Dern, and Regina Hall, as well as director Guillermo del Toro.
Adam Sandler received the Career Achievement Award, thanks to his roles in Happy Gilmore 2 and Jay Kelly, showcasing his versatile acting prowess.
