JUST IN: Cary Christopher, the young talent known for his roles in Days of Our Lives and Mr. Mom, is set to appear in the upcoming TV series Lanterns, inspired by the Green Lantern comic series from DC.
Produced by Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King, the show centers on newly minted Green Lantern John Stewart (played by Aaron Pierre) and the veteran Hal Jordan (portrayed by Kyle Chandler). These two cosmic law enforcers find themselves embroiled in a sinister mystery on Earth while investigating a homicide in the heart of America.
In the series, Christopher will portray Young Noah, a courteous and charismatic youngster from a small town. Naturally talented and successful in his endeavors, he finds joy in playing football.
He joins an impressive ensemble including Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, Kelly MacDonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, Ulrich Thomsen, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Sherman Augustus, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Jason Ritter, Nathan Fillion, Chris Coy, and Paul Ben-Victor.

HBO, in collaboration with Warner Bros Television and DC Studios, is producing this eight-episode drama. Mundy acts as the showrunner and has co-written and executive produced the series alongside Lindelof and King. The first two episodes are directed and executive produced by James Hawes, with other episodes directed by Stephen Williams, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Alik Sakharov.
Christopher’s acting career began when he was just three years old in the Vudu/MGM series Mr. Mom. He soon secured the role of Thomas DiMera on NBC/Peacock’s Days of Our Lives, earning a Daytime Emmy nomination at the age of seven in 2023. He is scheduled to make his big-screen debut in Warner Bros’ Weapons, a mystery-horror film directed by Zach Cregger this August.
Looking forward, Christopher has secured a series regular role in the Amazon MGM faith-based drama It’s Not Like That and will feature in a recurring guest role in Spider-Noir, an upcoming series on MGM+ and Prime Video starring Nicolas Cage. His other television credits include roles on Fuller House, American Horror Stories, Station 19, NCIS, The Rookie, 9-1-1, and High Potential. He is represented by Zuri Agency, Evolve Talent Management, and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.
