Television host Gino D’Acampo, widely recognized from his appearances on ITV’s This Morning and as a co-host alongside Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix, faces accusations of misconduct and intimidating actions from over a dozen individuals.
Following an ITV news report aired earlier this evening, several former colleagues of D’Acampo shared experiences where he allegedly made sexually charged comments, causing them significant discomfort. These incidents reportedly span many years.
In one account from 2011, a woman claimed D’Acampo suggested he wanted to engage in a sexual act with her against a kitchen counter. Another recounted an instance where he greeted her at his door in just his underwear, making crude remarks about his genitals. A third party reported D’Acampo threatened, in a lewd manner, over a Cornetto ice cream cone. Below, you can find his response to these accusations.

ITV News covered numerous similar allegations this evening.
D’Acampo has been a familiar face on various ITV shows. Known for his cheerful demeanor, he has been a staple on This Morning alongside Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who recently departed the show in 2023 amid controversy. D’Acampo has also starred in multiple series and spin-offs of the Gordon, Gino & Fred series, and hosted the ITV game show Family Fortunes. He was crowned the winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2009.
In response to the allegations, D’Acampo provided a strong denial to ITV News, stating they were “deeply upsetting.” He mentioned, “ITN news informed me that several claims of inappropriate behavior have been made against me, some dating back over a decade. I was previously unaware of these complaints, which I absolutely deny. I do not recognize the version of events described to me.” His full statement is accessible below, and further comments from his agent have been requested.
According to the report by ITV News, the producer of Gordon, Gino & Fred, Objective Media Group, received complaints about sexual remarks by D’Acampo during Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Roadtrip in 2018. In an email from 2024, Objective stated they addressed the distinction between his on-screen persona and off-screen behavior with staff, and a comprehensive process was undertaken for another show, Emission Impossible, following further issues.
Deadline has learned that neither ITV nor Objective Media Group plans to collaborate with D’Acampo in the future, with no new shows featuring him commissioned since 2023. An ITV spokesperson affirmed their commitment to maintaining a respectful work environment, stating that they rigorously investigate any complaints and take necessary actions if inappropriate behavior is confirmed. They expect the same standards from all production companies working under ITV.
Objective Media Group emphasized their serious approach to the welfare and safety of their production staff and teams. They highlighted that robust protocols are continually reviewed and updated to align with industry-wide ‘Duty of Care’ standards.
This news arrives amid other high-profile misconduct allegations within the industry, including claims against MasterChef host Gregg Wallace, who denies any sexually harassing behavior and is under investigation by producer Banijay. ITV has previously dealt with similar issues involving other leading figures like Phillip Schofield and celebrity chef James Martin, the latter facing accusations of bullying, as uncovered by a Deadline investigation.
Regarding the 2011 incident, D’Acampo’s legal team stated: “This claim, which surfaced nearly 15 years ago, was never brought to Mr. D’Acampo’s attention until recently through a media inquiry. He does not remember nor acknowledges that it occurred. Mr. D’Acampo is appalled by these accusations of aggressive behavior, which he vehemently denies.”
Concerning the allegation of him answering the door in underwear, his lawyers remarked: “Mr. D’Acampo outright denies these accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior. To his knowledge, no complaints of this nature have been previously made regarding his time on ‘Gino’s Italian Express’, and this is the first he has heard of these alleged incidents six years later, which he considers to be largely fabricated.”
On the ‘Cornetto’ incident, his legal team commented: “Mr. D’Acampo is deeply troubled by being accused of uttering inappropriate remarks to a subordinate on ‘Gino’s Italian Express’. He has no memory of this incident and strongly denies that these words would ever come from him.”
D’Acampo’s general statement in full
“ITN news has informed me that I am accused of acting inappropriately, with some allegations stretching back more than ten years. I was not aware of these issues before, and I firmly deny them. It is not in my nature to upset or distress anyone. The portrayal of events presented to me is unrecognizable.
“These allegations have never been raised with me before now, despite being consistently supported by top executives and receiving prime-time programming contracts during the period these supposed incidents took place.
“As a father, husband, and a professional who has worked with over 1,500 individuals across approximately 80 productions, I take these matters with the utmost seriousness. The notion that I would engage in inappropriate conduct is profoundly distressing.”
