During a session on Tuesday, DeCosta responded to multiple questions about claims made against Tucker.
In a report by The Baltimore Banner at the end of January, it was disclosed that six massage therapists had described disturbing encounters with Tucker between 2012 and 2016. Following the initial publication on January 30, another 10 therapists from various spas in the Baltimore region came forward, accusing Tucker of inappropriate sexual conduct. This totals 16 accusers to date.
“These allegations are indeed grave and troubling,” DeCosta remarked at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis. “The sheer number of these accusations is alarming. We are relieved that the NFL has taken charge of the investigation. We intend to wait for all the pertinent details before making any decisions.”

DeCosta also mentioned that the Ravens were unaware of any issues regarding Tucker until the story by The Baltimore Banner was brought to their attention.
“We only learned about the potential allegations when a local news outlet indicated they were preparing a report on Justin Tucker,” stated DeCosta.
Last week, The Baltimore Banner also reported that NFL officials were in Baltimore to look into the accusations against Tucker. DeCosta confirmed his cooperation with the league’s investigation and mentioned he has been in communication with Tucker since the allegations surfaced.
Tucker, aged 35, has been with the Ravens since his rookie year in 2012. He has three years left on his contract and is slated to earn $7.1 million in 2025. Tucker’s performance in 2024 was notably poor, with a field goal success rate of only 73.3%.
