BREAKING: High Potential is slated for a Polish adaptation. The new version will be titled Genialna M. and will be available on Polsat and the Comcast and Paramount-operated streaming service SkyShowtime. Similar to the U.S. version on ABC, the Polish series is inspired by the French hit H.P.I. – Haut Potentiel Intellectuel, known for its unique blend of mystery and humor.
The Polish adaptation features Agnieszka Dygant as Marta, a janitor at a police department. One evening, while cleaning, she stumbles upon a vital clue in a stalled investigation, propelling the police closer to apprehending the criminal. It turns out Marta has an exceptionally high IQ, and she starts aiding the police in solving crimes, utilizing her intelligence.
“With its intricate, engaging lead character, meticulously crafted narrative, and a perfect mix of humor and mystery, this series has everything,” commented Edward Miszczak, Program Director at Telewizja Polsat. “The casting is another great advantage, and for now, we are delighted to announce Agnieszka Dygant, whose exceptional talent is sure to attract viewers,” he added.
