A New Era for Seminoles Basketball
According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, Luke Loucks, a former Florida State player and assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings, has accepted an offer to become the new head coach of the Seminoles. This development was initially brought to light by Warchant.
Loucks, an alumnus who played guard at Florida State from 2008 to 2012, has been building his resume in the NBA since 2016. His professional coaching career began with the Golden State Warriors under Steve Kerr, where he served from 2016 to 2021, before moving to the Sacramento Kings’ coaching staff.
He steps into the role previously held by Leonard Hamilton, who announced his retirement at the conclusion of this season, closing more than two decades of leadership at the program.
