Gordon Ramsay Stars in BBC’s ‘Rise of the Rockstar Chef’ Series – Must Watch!

Gordon Ramsay stars in a significant new BBC series called The Rise of the Rockstar Chef, produced by his company Studio Ramsay Global.

Ramsay, alongside Marco Pierre White and Heston Blumenthal, is featured in this series which profiles three influential chefs.

Set during the Cool Britannia period, The Rise of the Rockstar Chef delves into how these chefs’ relentless drive and fierce competition transformed the UK’s culinary scene and redefined the standards of gourmet cooking. The series includes frank discussions with Ramsay, White, and Blumenthal, as well as insights from those who saw their conflicts, breakdowns, and disputes up close, such as esteemed food critics, maîtres d’, and former assistant chefs.

Ramsay has become a major celebrity in both the UK and the US, having produced countless hours of television content for Fox, which is distributing the series through its international sales division, Fox Entertainment Global.

The Rise of the Rockstar Chef was greenlit for BBC One and iPlayer by Catherine Catton, Head of Commissioning for Factual Entertainment and Events, with Ricky Cooper as the BBC commissioning editor. The series is directed and produced by Zoë Dobson, with Edwards and Amanda Westwood as executive producers, Jess Holder overseeing production, and Emma Pinching as the line producer.
