One Piece Season 3 Cast Expands with Four New Stars for Battle of Alabasta!

Emilio Sakraya (Rheingold, Those About to Die, Fortitude), Omid Abtahi (The Mandalorian, American Gods), Jamie Ward (The Gentlemen, His Dark Materials), and Nabeel Khan (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Strike Back) have been selected for additional roles in the third season of the Netflix series One Piece: The Battle of Alibasta. These cast additions were revealed during the One Piece Day event in Tokyo, Japan, following the completion of filming in Cape Town, South Africa.

In their new roles, Sakraya will depict Koza, Abtahi will take on the character of Toto, Ward will play Pell, and Khan will appear as Chaka.

These actors join the returning members of the Straw Hat crew, including Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. The season also features Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Mikaela Hoover as Chopper, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday, and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefartari Cobra. Newly announced cast members for Season 3 include Cole Escola as Bon Clay, Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace, Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger, and Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1.

Further casting announcements are expected in the future.

In the upcoming Season 3, Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat crew navigate the dangers of the Grand Line and find themselves embroiled in a conflict in the desert kingdom of Alabasta, the home of Princess Vivi. A looming rebellion, secretly fueled by the nefarious Sir Crocodile of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and his criminal organization Baroque Works, threatens to split the nation. This season is marked by deep loyalties and difficult decisions, as the Straw Hats confront a simmering civil war and a formidable warlord in an effort to save the kingdom from devastation.

Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes are at the helm as co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers. The series is also executive produced by Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky Clements through Tomorrow Studios, along with Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda.
