Jacob Elordi Has Only Read Nate’s ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Scenes, Compares Secrecy To “The JFK Files”

As Euphoria embarks on its third season, now officially in the works after a hiatus exceeding three years, series creator Sam Levinson is taking extraordinary measures to prevent any plot leaks.

Jacob Elordi, returning as Nate Jacobs in the acclaimed HBO series, shared that he has access only to his own character’s segments, likening the security around the script to that of “the JFK files.”

“The scripts are top secret. It’s like looking at the JFK files; everything important is redacted,” he commented during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “You don’t get to see the full script.”

Elordi hinted at a cryptic line from his upcoming season, saying, “A peculiar phrase for me this season would be ‘white fritillaries.’ Make of that what you will.”

“Honestly, I have no clue what it stands for,” Fallon admitted, with Elordi agreeing: “Neither do I.” (For context, it refers to a type of flower.)

Anticipate a shift in Elordi’s portrayal from the high school athlete entangled in a complex romantic ordeal as Euphoria progresses, especially since the narrative propels them into their adult lives, which aligns with the gap between the seasons.

Following the conclusion of Season 2 nearly three years ago, production for Season 3 of Euphoria commenced in February, after much speculation about the series potentially ending.
