Zachary Levi has expressed no regrets about his endorsement of Donald Trump, stating he has been “at peace” with his choice.
During his appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, the star of Shazam discussed his latest movie, The Unbreakable Boy, and shared his thoughts on the importance of publicly supporting Trump.
“I felt at peace because I realized this was more crucial than merely safeguarding my career,” Levi remarked. “Too often, we get trapped in mindsets focused on self-preservation, which isn’t beneficial. We need to be smart—we aim to thrive and prosper, but our decisions shouldn’t be based solely on fear of negative outcomes. Sometimes, you have to make sacrifices.”
Levi joined the Trump campaign during a Michigan rally in September 2024, following the withdrawal of his initial preferred candidate, RFK Jr.

“What’s really my greatest fear? Losing roles in an industry I believe is already deteriorating, one that might not offer me opportunities in the future?” he questioned. “Let’s be real, if I lose my entire acting career, which I hope doesn’t happen and hasn’t yet, none of it will matter if everything else falls apart.”
The former Chuck star praised Trump for “following through on his commitments,” adding, “Beyond that, he’s actually addressed some issues I was secretly hoping he would because, frankly, we deserve transparency about what’s happening.”
