Epstein Island Joke From Trevor Noah At Grammys Sends Trump Into Lawsuit Threatening Tizzy: “A Total Loser, Better Get His Facts Straight”

Trevor Noah’s cheeky query directed at Donald Trump during the Grammy Awards, asking, “What are you going to do about it?” seems to have provoked a reaction from the former Apprentice star, albeit indirectly.

Trump, never one to shy away from confronting his detractors or those who mock him, has hinted at taking legal action against Noah.

“Looks like I’ll be deploying my attorneys to handle this pathetic, untalented fool of a host, and sue him big time,” Trump vented online shortly after the conclusion of the star-studded 68th Grammy Awards on CBS, dominated by performances from Kendrick Lamar and Bad Bunny. “Just ask Little George Stephanopoulos and others, even CBS, how it all pans out. Brace yourself, Noah, I’m ready to have some fun with this!”

In a characteristic display of his penchant for attention and vindication, Trump took to his Truth Social platform in a lengthy, furious post filled with capital letters to denounce the Grammy’s biggest night and Noah’s final gig as host. The trigger was seemingly a bipartisan joke about his past association with the now deceased criminal Jeffrey Epstein, as highlighted here:

“Incorrectly, Noah claimed that both Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein’s island,” Trump furiously typed. “WRONG!!! While I can’t speak for Bill, I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere nearby, and until tonight’s slanderous statement, have never even been accused of being there, not even by the mainstream media.”

The back-and-forth between Noah and Trump emerges just days after the release of a massive dump of redacted documents and numerous censored images from the long-awaited Epstein Files by Trump’s Justice Department. Despite the release, there’s anticipation of more undisclosed details, even following Congressional demands. Among those mentioned in the disclosed documents are LA Olympics chief Casey Wasserman, former President Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Jay-Z, Prince Andrew, Harvey Weinstein, and Epstein’s associate, convicted felon Ghislaine Maxwell.

While Trump has acknowledged knowing Epstein during the 80s and 90s, he has consistently denied any inappropriate activities with or through the financier. Despite being implicated by some of Epstein’s victims and appearing in questionable videos and correspondence with Epstein, no substantial legal connections have been established linking him to the horrific crimes of sex trafficking.

The depth of Trump’s connections with Epstein, who died in custody in 2019 ruled as a suicide, remains a point of contention and speculation among Democrats and critics. This is even as other prominent figures like Clinton and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers have also been entangled in the scandal. The extensive document release on January 30 forced Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to repeatedly assure that the DOJ was not shielding any former president, though these assurances have done little to quell suspicions.

Having been a fixture on CBS since the era of President Richard Nixon in 1973, this Grammy ceremony marks the last to air on the now David Ellison-owned network.

Beginning in 2027, the Grammy Awards will move to ABC under a 10-year agreement with Disney, announced last year. As the Oscars transition from ABC to YouTube in 2029, the Grammys will be broadcast on ABC, Hulu, and Disney+ through 2036 – a period during which the now 90-year-old Trump will likely no longer be in the political spotlight.
