‘Survivor 50’ Unveiled: CBS Drops Exciting Trailer & Reveals Final Contestants!

The upcoming Survivor 50 was teased during the climax of Season 49, promising a return of iconic competitors for this significant edition of the CBS series.

The 50th season of Survivor will showcase 24 contestants vying for the title of Sole Survivor and the $1 million reward. The season is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 25 at 8 p.m. ET.

During the reveal, host Jeff Probst introduced a sneak peek of Survivor 50, highlighting that Season 49’s finalist Rizo Velovic and champion Savannah Louie will join the cast for this special season.

Prominent returnees to Survivor include The White Lotus creator Mike White, who originally appeared in Season 37: David Vs. Goliath. Additional returning contestants are Jenna Lewis-Dougherty from Season 1, Colby Donaldson from Season 2, and Cirie Fields, marking her fifth competition.

The theme for Survivor 50 is “In the Hands of the Fans,” with the audience having unprecedented influence over game elements. Earlier in the year, fans cast their votes on decisions such as “Idols or No Idols,” “Final Four Fire Making: Keep It or Lose It,” and whether to have the “Live Finale and Reunion Show in L.A. – or continue with the Winner Reveal and Aftershow in the jungles of Fiji.” The outcomes of these votes will remain unknown to the contestants until the game commences.
