Netflix has just released the trailer for Hunting Gary Glitter, spotlighting the notorious former pop icon turned serial child abuser. Watch the trailer above.

Set to premiere on October 14, the documentary details the efforts of journalists and survivors who have come forward, tracking Glitter’s criminal activities from his 1997 conviction, through his time as a fugitive, to his final capture and imprisonment.

A group of persistent journalists followed the disgraced musician around the world—from Cuba to Cambodia to Vietnam—aiming to bring to light the child sexual abuse he hid behind his decades-long, chart-topping career.

Originally known as Paul Francis Gadd, Glitter achieved fame in the 1970s and 1980s. However, his fall from grace began in 1999 when he was convicted for downloading child abuse material and committed numerous other offenses over the years, leading to deportations from multiple countries. Most recently, he faced charges for additional historical sex crimes.
