New Season 3 Trailer for “The Summer I Turned Pretty” Released
The highly anticipated full trailer for Season 3 of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” is finally here, and it brings a wealth of new developments to digest. Clocking in at three minutes, the trailer is set to a dynamic mix of Taylor Swift’s “Daylight” and “Red,” promising an emotional whirlwind in this concluding season. The story picks up roughly two years after Season 2, with Belly Conklin (played by Lola Tung) and Jeremiah Fisher (portrayed by Gavin Casalegno) still deeply in love. Their relationship is so solid that they are contemplating marriage. Despite Belly’s mother’s strong objections, the couple seems resolute in their decision to wed.
However, the plot thickens when Belly’s unresolved feelings for Jeremiah’s brother, Conrad (Christopher Briney), resurface. As Belly and Conrad rekindle their closeness, the narrative takes a complex turn.

The full trailer builds upon the excitement generated by the teaser released in April, which featured a romantic sequence of Belly and Jeremiah’s evolving relationship at Finch University. Accompanied by Taylor Swift’s “Daylight,” the teaser showcased the couple in various candid and affectionate moments—eating in the university cafeteria, sitting together on an outdoor bench, and enjoying a playful gunny-sack race, all radiating immense happiness and love.
The mood shifts dramatically as the music changes to Swift’s “Red (Taylor’s Version).” The scene changes to Christopher Briney’s Conrad stepping into the Cousins Beach house, a candy cane in his mouth, to find Belly wielding a fire poker and smeared with chocolate. This particular scene, sure to thrill fans of the book series, is a direct nod to a memorable moment from Jenny Han’s third novel, “We’ll Always Have Summer.”
The show’s third season is steered by Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka, who also serve as executive producers alongside Karen Rosenfelt. Other executive producers include Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen for wiip. The series is a collaborative production between Amazon Studios and wiip.
