Tom Hardy (known for Venom: The Last Dance), Pierce Brosnan (famous from Die Another Day), and Helen Mirren (star of The Queen) have been confirmed as the star cast in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming series on Showtime and Paramount+, currently without a title. The production of this international crime series, formerly referred to as The Associate (working title), has commenced in London.
In an exclusive October announcement by Deadline, it was reported that these three actors were in the final stages of discussions to become series regulars.
In the series, Hardy takes on the role of “Harry Da Souza,” who acts as a professional mediator for the Harrigan family. Brosnan will portray “Conrad Harrigan,” the leader of a prominent Irish crime family in London and Harry’s employer; Mirren will appear as “Maeve Harrigan,” Conrad’s wife and the family matriarch.
The series description indicates it as “a thrilling new global crime series about two rival families in London, whose operations extend worldwide, and the devoted ‘fixer’ who is tasked with safeguarding one of these families at any cost.”

Chris McCarthy, Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President/CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, expressed his excitement about the project, “Having Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren, all legends in the acting world, leading the cast of Guy Ritchie’s new series is an honor. The combination of their remarkable talents and the creative vision of Guy, Jez Butterworth, and Ronan Bennett is poised to set this show apart as a defining series for Showtime on Paramount+.”

Mirren has recently completed filming for the second and final season of Tyler Sheridan’s 1923, a production by 101 Studios and MTV Studios. Mirren and Brosnan were also recently seen together in Netflix’s The Thursday Murder Club, which concluded filming last month.
