At the outset of the Critics Choice Awards, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner nearly had their thunder stolen by Hacks stars Paul W. Downs and Meg Stalter. The pair humorously dressed up as Chalamet and Jenner, mimicking their iconic orange outfits from the Los Angeles debut of Chalamet’s film Marty Supreme.
However, by the end of the night, Chalamet captured everyone’s attention by winning Best Actor for his portrayal in Mary Supreme. In a memorable moment that set social media abuzz, particularly with speculations about his relationship with Jenner, Chalamet publicly acknowledged her during his acceptance speech, a first for him on such a platform.
“I owe so much to my partner of three years. I love you. You’re my rock,” Chalamet expressed, directing his words toward Jenner. “My deepest thanks to you.”

The broadcast promptly showed Jenner, who was visibly moved, silently saying, “I love you too.”
Chalamet didn’t stop there; he also praised Josh Safdie, the director, producer, and co-writer of Marty Supreme, a film inspired by the life and career of American table tennis icon Marty Reisman.
“Josh, your storytelling about a flawed yet relatable man was powerful without being preachy. We need more narratives like that,” Chalamet remarked. “Thanks for bringing this dream to life.”
