Star-Studded ‘Doménica Montero’ Cast Reveal: Angelique Boyer, Marcus Ornellas Shine in New Telenovela!

Angelique Boyer shines as the lead in TelevisaUnivision’s evening soap opera Doménica Montero.

The show draws inspiration from stories by Inés Rodena and Caridad Bravo Adams, which have previously seen great success on Univision, like La Dueña (1995) with Angélica Rivera and Soy Tu Dueña (2010) featuring Lucero.

In the latest series, Boyer portrays Doménica, a woman who is abandoned by her fiancé right at the altar on what was supposed to be her wedding day.

Doménica Montero follows the journey of a distinguished businesswoman and philanthropist. Once considered one of the most eligible bachelorettes, her life takes a dramatic turn when she is publicly jilted at her own wedding. Feeling humiliated and betrayed, Doménica escapes to her family’s old estate to avoid the public eye.

While hiding away, she encounters numerous challenges and meets Luis Fernando (Marcus Ornellas), a neighboring estate owner with his own troubled past. Their relationship is volatile, filled with pride, misunderstandings, and a magnetic attraction. As they navigate their personal pain, property disputes also arise, adding complexity to their attempt to find healing and new beginnings.
