Sarah Steele Returning As Marissa Gold In ‘Elsbeth’ Season 3

Elsbeth Season 3 is set to bring back a well-known character from the Good Wife/Good Fight saga.

In the upcoming season, Sarah Steele will return as Marissa Gold, marking her as the second actor from the franchise to reprise their role, following Christian Borle who returned as Carter Schmidt in Season 2. Carrie Preston, who stars in Elsbeth, along with Borle and Steele, have all appeared across the three related series.

Previously, the late Linda Lavin appeared in Season 1 of Elsbeth as Gloria, a different character from Joy Grubick, whom she portrayed in the sixth season of CBS’ The Good Wife.

Steele was first seen in Season 2 of the flagship series as Marissa Gold, daughter of Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), who was instrumental in navigating Peter Florick (Chris Noth) through various scandals. In The Good Fight, Marissa’s role expanded significantly with Steele being a regular, portraying the law firm’s in-house investigator.
