Alfred Hitchcock, known for his knack for thrilling and unnerving audiences, is set to haunt Netflix subscribers with a hefty dose of suspense. Netflix has announced the addition of a selection of Hitchcock’s most celebrated films to its library, including classics like The Birds, Vertigo, Rear Window, and his last film Family Plot, among others.
These films will accompany Hitchcock’s iconic and chilling film Psycho, which is already available for streaming on Netflix.
The lineup also includes titles like Frenzy, The Man Who Knew Too Much, as well as Hitchcock, a biographical movie about the legendary director directed by Sacha Gervasi. This new collection on Netflix also showcases movies inspired by Hitchcock’s influential style, including Us and Barbarian.
Additionally, Netflix is promoting “Hitch! The Original Cinema Influencer,” a six-week film series to be held at the historic Paris Theatre in Manhattan. This event will screen over 50 films, featuring more than three dozen Hitchcock films. Many of these films, including Rear Window, Vertigo, and North by Northwest, will be shown in 35mm format. The series also includes other cinematic gems like Francois Truffaut’s The Bride Wore Black and Henri-Georges Clouzot’s Diabolique.

The festival will take place from May 16 to June 2, celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Paris Theatre.
