The final season, bringing the story back to Cousins Beach and wrapping up the complex love triangle involving Belly and the Fisher brothers, is scheduled for release in July 2025, as announced by Prime Video in early March.

Has Filming for Season 3 Begun?

Yes, filming for the series’ concluding season officially kicked off on May 14. Prime Video released the first-look images of the cast in their characters for Season 3 at the end of March.

In these images, Belly and Jeremiah can be seen at their shared university, Finch, where Belly is involved in volleyball. There’s also a glimpse into Conrad’s journey in medical school, while Taylor (Rain Spencer) and Steven (Sean Kaufman) appear to still be going strong.

Jenny Han’s Role in Season 3

Jenny Han continues her involvement with the series, co-showrunning with Sarah Kucserka. Han, Kucserka, Karen Rosenfelt, and Gabrielle Stanton are executive producers, alongside Hope Hartman, Mads Hansen, and Paul Lee for wiip. The series is a joint production between Amazon Studios and wiip.

Alongside the announcement of the release date, Han revealed that she will make her directorial debut in an episode of Season 3.
