Disney+ has recently expanded its global strategy by partnering with local streaming services, the latest being in Indonesia.
Disney+, a major player in the streaming market, has teamed up with Vidio, Indonesia’s leading streamer, to introduce a new subscription package. This collaboration marks Disney’s first such partnership in Indonesia.
The package, named ‘Vidio Ultimate Disney+ All Screen Bundle’, will provide subscribers with access to both Vidio Ultimate All Screen and Disney+’s standard service.
Subscribers will enjoy a vast array of content, including Disney’s popular international series like Only Murders in the Building, hit movies from the Star Wars saga and Marvel, as well as Disney+ originals from the Asia Pacific region. This will be combined with Vidio’s exclusive rights to major sports events such as the English Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, and the BRI Super League, plus live TV and original programming.
Additionally, all Vidio subscribers will gain access to a special ‘Taste of Disney+’ selection, which includes highlights like select episodes of the Korean series Flex X Cop Season 2, the American crime-comedy High Potential, the animated show Sofia the First, and the beloved medical series Grey’s Anatomy.
Available to Stream
Disney+ is actively forming content sharing and bundle deals internationally as part of its strategy to collaborate with regional platforms and broaden its market reach.

Tony Zameczkowski, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Direct-to-Consumer, Asia Pacific at The Walt Disney Company, commented, “This partnership combines Disney+’s globally acclaimed films and series with Vidio’s robust local entertainment offerings, enhancing the streaming experience for both fans and newcomers.”
He further stated that this initiative is aimed at accelerating Disney+’s collaborations in the Asia Pacific to widen its audience, increase engagement, and enhance subscriber value and content diversity.
Vidio has maintained its status as Indonesia’s top streaming service for four consecutive years, according to Media Partners Asia (MPA).
Sutanto Hartono, CEO of Vidio, expressed, “Our alliance with Disney+ merges two complementary entertainment experiences, creating one of the most comprehensive premium entertainment options available in Indonesia.”
“As consumer preferences in entertainment continue to shift, they seek more variety and value from their subscriptions. The ‘Taste of Disney+’ collection, alongside our bundle, will deliver select Disney narratives directly to our audience, enriching our portfolio of Indonesian originals and sports content,” added Hartono.
