While my relationship with my college boyfriend didn’t last, he left a lasting impression by introducing me to artichokes. His method was to steam them and serve with a garlic butter dip, a simple yet delicious way that made me a fan of the vegetable.
Preparing artichokes can be quite laborious, which is why I find Trader Joe’s Marinated Artichokes On The Go, priced at just $1.29, to be a real lifesaver. These are marinated in a bold mixture of olive oil, vinegar, garlic, and herbs.
Perfect for when you need a quick artichoke fix, these single-serve packets are ideal for snacking or for a quick lunch (think instant mini antipasto platter!). Not only do they work well on their own, but they also add a vibrant, briny flavor to various dishes. Despite the small size of the packet, the intense flavor of the artichokes means a little goes a long way in larger meals.
The Numerous Applications of Trader Joe’s Marinated Artichoke Hearts
In my home, Friday nights are synonymous with pizza and movie night. Whether we’re crafting a homemade pizza or sprucing up a store-bought one, these artichoke hearts are the perfect addition.
