Bill Burr Slams Elon Musk as an “Idiot,” Chelsea Handler Wonders Who Voted for Him

Elon Musk has emerged as a contentious figure in the political landscape during Donald Trump’s second term as President, and comedians like Bill Burr and Chelsea Handler are openly criticizing him.

In a recent interview, Burr urged American citizens to cease their infighting, suggesting that this discord is what figures like Musk desire.

“I want ordinary folks to stop attacking each other and see that it’s really just a small clique of techies munching on raw almonds, obsessing over their fitness routines, and outdoing each other in who can own the largest infinity pool, while the rest of us are being stepped on,” Burr expressed on NPR’s Fresh Air. “They’ve made everything political and we’re just playing into their hands.”

When questioned about whom he was referring to, Burr bluntly replied, “That fool Elon Musk!”

Burr, who is promoting his new Hulu comedy special Drop Dead Years, labeled the Tesla CEO as “clearly a fascist,” citing Musk’s actions during Trump’s inauguration.

“It’s tough to see it as just a coincidental double Nazi salute. And right at a presidential inauguration!” Burr continued.

“This is my issue with liberals,” he stated. “Liberals are utterly toothless. They just scream, ‘Oh my God, can you believe this? I’m leaving the country!’ And I’m sitting here thinking, you’re going to abandon the country over one man with artificial hair and a plastic surgery-enhanced face? Who produces subpar cars and runs a dated social media platform? Why doesn’t he leave instead? Why are we so intimidated by this guy who couldn’t even fight his way out of a wet paper bag?”

Burr’s critique of Musk followed remarks by fellow comedian Chelsea Handler, who also made sharp comments about the billionaire.

“Did we ever vote for Elon Musk to be president? Isn’t this something we can agree on, both Republicans and Democrats, that we don’t want that?” Handler quipped during an appearance at SXSW.

When the panel moderator suggested that Handler consider dating Musk, she firmly declined, stating, “There’s a lot I’d do for my country, but sleeping with Elon Musk is not on that list. I just can’t.”
