Listeria Triggers Recall of Freeze-Dried Fruit Across 40+ States

On July 30, Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions, LLC, initiated a recall of its Member’s Mark Freeze Dried Fruit Variety Pack 15-count boxes following tests that indicated potential contamination with listeria.

The recalled items—freeze-dried strawberries, bananas, and apples—were available between July 1 and July 25, 2025, at Sam’s Club and Walmart stores nationwide. These products were sold in bulk, each in its own individually-wrapped pouch.

To determine if you have a recalled box, check for UPC 1 93968 50900 2. Also, review the lot code and expiration date on the package. The recall notice includes a complete list of affected codes and dates.

If you possess any of the recalled fruit, dispose of it immediately and seek a refund at Sam’s Club. For further inquiries, contact their customer service at 770-387-0451, available from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.

Ice Cream Products Recalled Over Hidden Allergen

On July 25, Tropicale Foods issued a recall for several of its Helados Mexico and La Michoacana ice cream products due to a misprint on the labels. An internal review of all product labels revealed that 14 items containing cream failed to declare the presence of milk.

Considering milk’s status as a common allergen, this error could have serious implications. So far, there has been at least one reported case of illness due to this oversight.

These ice cream products were distributed at Walmart and Dollar Tree stores. A comprehensive list of affected flavors, sizes, UPCs, and expiration dates can be found in the recall notice.

If you or someone you know is allergic to dairy or lactose intolerant, discard the affected products and inquire about a refund. If dairy isn’t an issue for you, the ice cream remains safe to consume.

For more information on this recall, contact Tropicale Foods at 909-563-3090, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST.

Packaging Mix-Up Leads to Recall of High Noon Vodka Seltzer

High Noon, a well-known producer of canned vodka seltzer drinks, has recalled two batches of its High Noon Beach Variety 12-packs due to a packaging mistake. The packs were found to contain cans of CELSIUS® ASTRO VIBE Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition, instead of the intended High Noon.

This error could lead to confusion for someone looking for a non-alcoholic beverage in a cooler, only to unexpectedly find an alcoholic vodka seltzer instead of an energy drink.

Not all variety packs are included in this recall. Only the High Noon Beach Variety 12-packs with specific lot codes are affected:

  • L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to 23:59
  • L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to 03:00
  • L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to 3:11

These recalled 12-packs were shipped to retailers in Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin from July 21 to July 23, 2025.

If you discover a can of “Celsius Astro Vibe” in your High Noon variety pack, note that it is safe to drink but contains alcohol. For inquiries regarding this recall, you can reach High Noon Consumer Relations at consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com.
