Terence Winter Dives Back Into the World of Mob Drama
Terence Winter, renowned for his work on The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire, is making a comeback to the mob genre with a new drama centered on Salvatore “Sammy the Bull” Gravano. Winter will handle the writing duties, while Antoine Fuqua is set to direct what could become a new series. The project is a collaborative effort between FX Productions and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment.
The Life and Crimes of Sammy the Bull
The series aims to explore the tumultuous life of Salvatore Gravano, a notorious figure who once held a senior position within the infamous Gambino crime family.
In terms of production leadership, Winter and Fuqua will serve as executive producers. They are joined by Nicholas Pillegi, Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment, Rick Yorn, Scott Greenberg, J.J. Sacha, and Billy Malone. Overseeing the project for Kapital Entertainment is Kevin Marco.
