The second annual Gotham Television Awards ceremony is taking place Monday night in New York City, with the year’s top television talents being honored as the TV awards season ramps up.
Leading the pack with four nominations is Netflix’s Adolescence, closely followed by Max’s The Pitt, CBS’ Matlock, and FX’s limited series Dying For Sex with three nominations each. Earlier in the evening, Apple TV+’s The Studio clinched the award for Breakthrough Comedy Series.
A total of 12 competitive categories are being contested tonight, including the newly introduced category for Outstanding Original Film, Broadcast or Streaming, which was awarded to HBO | Max’s documentary Pee-wee as Himself.
