Jason Isaacs & Tom Felton Have ‘Harry Potter’ Reunion On Broadway: “So Brave. So Proud”

Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton recently enjoyed a Harry Potter reunion on Broadway, reuniting the Malfoy family.

Isaacs famously portrayed Lucius Malfoy, with Felton as his on-screen son, Draco Malfoy. Felton is currently back on Broadway, reprising his role as Draco in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

“I came. I saw. He conquered,” Isaacs expressed in an Instagram post. “You had large shoes to fill on your own, son, and you’ve outgrown them. Courageous as ever. Overflowing with pride. So happy to witness it.”

In response, Felton posted, “Thanks for coming dad. I’ve never been prouder to be a Malfoy.”

Additionally, the White Lotus actor shared several photos with Felton, showing them sharing a warm embrace. Included in the photos was Aidan Close, who portrays Draco’s son Scorpius in the Broadway show.

Felton also captured this touching moment of three Malfoy generations on his own Instagram, sharing the stage together for the first time.

“No one does it quite like the Malfoys – three generations meet for the first time on stage – Needless to say, it was magical… Love you dad @therealjasonisaacs Love you son @aidanmclose,” Felton captioned his post.

Earlier this year, Felton announced his return to the role of Draco Malfoy in the Broadway adaptation for a limited period. He took over from Aaron Bartz for a 19-week engagement from November 11 through March 22.

“It’s very much a pinch-me situation,” Felton remarked on the Today show. “It feels like I’m dreaming. I let go of this character 16 years ago, and now I have the chance to revisit him — this time as a father — in a new narrative. It’s thrilling to see Draco as an adult.”

Upon donning the character’s iconic hairstyle again, Felton admitted, “I immediately started crying,” adding, “It’s such a significant part of my youth, akin to returning to high school. I’ve been eager to announce this. I’ve had to keep it a secret for quite some time.”
