Chef Taylor clinched the title in the 2023 edition of Netflix’s culinary showdown Five Star Chef, with his family there to celebrate the achievement.
Ravneet Gill, one of the judges on the show, commented on Taylor’s passing, “From the moment he walked onto the set, he was utterly engaging. His eyes sparkled, he exuded warmth, kindness, and immense talent. Dom cooked with all his heart, and it resonated in his dishes. He was just about to embark on so many promising ventures.”
Another judge, Mike Reid, also commemorated Chef Taylor, stating, “Dom Taylor really was one of the best. What he created with The Good Front Room was more than just a dining place; it was a celebration of his heritage served up on a plate.
