The 24th AARP Movies for Grownups Awards have just taken place, spotlighting the standout movies and television series of the last year tailored for the 50-plus crowd.
The event, which took place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and hosted by Alan Cumming, saw Conclave and A Complete Unknown receiving the highest number of nominations.
Ultimately, A Complete Unknown triumphed over Conclave, Emilia Pérez, Gladiator II, and September 5 to snag the award for Best Movie for Grownups.
Originally set for January 11, the event was rescheduled due to the severe wildfires that recently swept through Los Angeles County. The AARP Foundation has committed to donating proceeds from the ceremony to aid organizations involved in the wildfire recovery efforts.
The 24th AARP Movies for Grownups Awards will be aired on PBS during their Great Performances series on Sunday, February 23 at 7 PM ET/6 PM CT. It will also be available for streaming on the PBS website and app.
