‘TINO FINALISING FRENCH DEAL’

BARRING late drama, Warriors and Le Havre striker Tino Kadewere is expected to seal a deal with a French top-flight team this week ending speculation of a possible to move to the English Premier League.

There have a number of interests for the player across Europe, with Premier League clubs Southampton and Bournemouth reported to have entered the race.

H-Metro moles close to Kadewere, however, says the move to the French Ligue 1 is mostly likely.

This publication exclusively reported last year that the red-hot striker is being chased by Olympique Lyonnais, popularly known as Lyon.

“Tino Kadewere is finalising the deal this week and might be announced on Friday (today) all things being even.

“He is joining a team in France,” said the source.

It, however, emerged that there are chances he might be loaned back to his club in the Ligue 2 until the end of the season.

“A number of clubs are in contact with Tino’s management and Le Havre but the most promising deal is in France. There are chances that he is going to be loaned to his current team until the end of the season,” added the source.

Some of the clubs reported to have made official contact with Le Havre over the player include Sottish giants Celtic and Brazilian giants Flamengo.

The 24-year-old star is leading the top-goal scorers chart in Ligue 2 with 17 goals in 19 matches.
