On December 15, the orchestral concert event “An Evening With Dua Lipa” was broadcast, showcasing her performance at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall on October 17. This special aired on CBS on Sunday evening and is now available for streaming on Paramount+.
During the concert, the “Dance the Night” artist delivered performances from her latest album “Radical Optimism,” as well as tracks from her earlier works, “Future Nostalgia” and the eponymous “Dua Lipa.” A highlight was her rendition of “Cold Heart” alongside the legendary Elton John, who joined her on stage. Lipa also took this moment to switch her ensemble.
In a discussion with Deadline, Lipa elaborated on the unique arrangements of her popular songs. While the orchestration offered a different flavor, the essence of the original tracks was preserved. The performance featured the 53-member Heritage Orchestra, conducted by Ben Foster, and was supported by a choir of 14 voices.
