WARRIORS captain Knowledge Musona was on target as his side, KAS Eupen, settled for a 2-2 draw against Sint Truiden in a friendly ecounter on Friday.
Musona opened the score sheet 13 minutes into the game to give his side the lead before surrendering, to go to the break trailing 2-1.
Eupen equalised in the second half to settle for a draw.
Musona extended his loan spell at Eupen for the 2020/21 campaign from his parent club RSC Anderlecht after impressing in the second half of last season for the same club.
Musona, who was handed the club’s number 10 shirt, after inking the new loan deal appears to have rediscovered his form.
This comes as good news to Warriors coach Zdravko Logarusic who is concerned about his players’ fitness in case they get any competetive match.
Fifa is yet to speak on the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers which were intially scheduled between September and November this year.
Logarusic told H-Metro recently that he is closely monitoring all the players eligble to play for Zimbabwe.
The Croat coach said he will consider those who will be ready when duty calls.
