FORMER TelOne and Black Mambas goalkeeper Tanya Huni says he has recovered from the knee injury which he picked last year.

Huni got signed by Black Rhinos this year after his contract with TelOne expired.
“I’m now fit, I have recovered. It wasn’t easy to accept that I was down and out for a long period in the time when the team was down and fighting relegation.
“I’m no longer with TelOne though, It was sad leaving them but I really thank the team and management for the effort they did put on my injury. They were responsible for my treatment which is the reason why I’m able to play.”
He said he moved to Black Rhinos after his contract ran out and also that the club was after his signature.
“The reason why I left TelOne is that I wanted to remain playing in the top league, when my contract expired I then opted to join Black Rhinos who were after my signature. It wasn’t an easy decision to make because TelOne were still interested in my services.”
On the issue of not being in action for a long time, Huni said the league delay helped him with time to fully recover
“I think league delay helped me to get much better and get back in shape and now I am fit enough to play. I trained the whole preseason with the team and it helped me to pick my fitness. I’m also following the training programs from the technical team, I’m now ready to play and also looking for a prosperous journey with my new club,” he said.
