Comedienne Madam Boss says she has discovered her new talent in baking during the extended lockdown.
So excited is the entertainer that she has been spending much of her time surfing for recipes from the internet.
In an interview with H-Metro, Madam Boss said she has also learnt a bit about e-learning for infants.
However, it is her new calling in baking she says was a new discovery.
“Staying indoors can be taxing, especially when you are doing nothing.
“In my case I am always indoors and Mhofela is the one who is always in and out,” she said.
Madam Boss said she has found a new hidden talent which keeps her busy.
“I wasn’t aware that I was good in baking and I just love the new talent.
“It all started off as a trial but I was impressed by stuff I was baking.
“At the moment, I spent much of my time surfing the net in search of new recipes,” she said.
She however said the ongoing lockdown has brought her closer to her family, especially their daughter.
“Of course I am always home but this time around it’s a bit different because it’s a prerequisite being indoors all the times.
“I am always with my daughter when Mhofela is running his own errands and I am glad to say that I am now more of her teacher.
“We are doing all the home works via e-learning and we have since embraced it.
“Of course I am not as intelligent as some of the people but I am happy that I can teach my own child at home.
“I have also realised that there is need for us to think outside the box to ensure that we do something better in life during such tryng times.”
Born Tyra Chikocho, the comedienne who doubles as an emcee, is married to Ngoni “Mhofela” Munetsiwa.
The couple is blessed with a daughter named Michaela Munetsiwa.
Originally from Malawi but raised in Madziva, Madam Boss is a woman of many talents.
In her own words, she described herself as:
“I am a comedienne, I am an actress but I don’t know exactly where I belong because people give a lot of titles.
“It’s up to the people to define my job. I am a Christian and I am always jovial.”
Madam has also made an impact on social media where she usually posted her skits.
She however said she misses big crowds as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic which does not allow for public gatherings.
