Suluman Chimbetu together with Friedrich Naumann Foundation have partnered with the Harare City Council in a bid to make the capital litter-free.
Sulu encouraged people to be responsible on a clean-up campaign held last week Thursday.
“We should make sure we don’t throw papers everywhere.

“There are bins that were put in every part of the CBD and we should make use of them.
“I am joining the City Council in order to restore Harare to its former status. It’s so painful seeing people dump litter everywhere especially those who will be travelling,” said Sulu.
The musician then remixed one of his songs spreading a message to the people not to throw litter everywhere.
In an interview, Friedrich Naumann Foundation representative and Project Consultant Doyce Ngwenya said they mostly partner with local authorities and organisations that are concerned in making the city a world class city.
“We want to make our capital city a world class city, that is clean and smart.
“The partnership focuses more on finding ways to engage communities that’s teaching them of recycling which helps to get income also.
“Hence people will also make efforts to keep the city clean,” he said.
