Chicken Inn food outlets and other Simbisa brands like Pizza Inn, Creamy Inn and Bakers Inn have intensified their sanitisation precautionary measures in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, which has been declared a national disaster.

Following the current coronavirus hygiene survey conducted by H-Metro in public places, it was established that all 78 Chicken inn complexes, which house over 400 shops have escalated sanitation measures.

An internal hygiene trainer identified as Chiedza at one of the branches in the Central Business District (CBD) revealed to H-Metro that all Chicken Inn staffers are receiving regular hygiene training from the head office down to the food court cleaners.

The staffers expressed concern over hand sanitisers that are being stolen on the tables.

A visit at other branches saw a number of their workers cleaning tables and surfaces with detergents more frequently than normal.

Customers into the shops had the privilege of hand sanitization at the entrances, tills before they were served and after eating as water points were provided at all the branches.
