Dynamos new signing Cameroon international Albert Eonde said he joined the Glamour Boys to address their goals deficit.
The striker joins Dynamos from Champions FC Platinum.
He is set to re-unite with fellow former teammate Godknows Murwira, who is nursing an ankle injury.
“They brought me here to score goals. That was loud and clear. The goal is to add value here not numbers.
“The team wants goal scorers and as a striker I think that is our key role, I promise more goals.
“I promise to work hard and make sure that I score in each and every game that I will be given an opportunity to wear that blue jersey,” said Eonde.
Eonde said he know joining a big team comes with pressure. He has since started training with the team.
He said the welcome was overwhelming for him. Eonde has since been given accommodation in town.
The player said Dynamos is the ideal team for him as he said the team have the much needed unity.
Was scared I was going to be a loner but no, the players there are united and loving.
“I don’t even feel new, maybe it’s because they have more new players. I feel at home already.
“I feel welcomed and that has boosted my confidence, the other players treat me like family and I would not lie, I am humbled with their welcome.
“I feel at home already, both the technical and the players are kind towards me,” added the forward.
Eonde believes the 2020 season will be a good season for him and his new team.
“There is competition within the team, competition improves a player.
“The Zimbabwean league is also equally competitive. I am looking forward to a great season with one of the Zimbabwe’s greatest club,” he said.
