Ngezi Platinum utility Keith Murera says he was eager to join Dynamos but Ngezi later offered a better deal.

Murera’s contract expired December last year.

He was set to join Dynamos and both parties had agreed on a deal only waiting for Murera to put pen to paper.

But Ngezi later tabled a better offer that saw Murera extending his stay, dismissing the Glamour Boys in the process.

He signed a one year deal.

“East or South, home is the best. Ngezi is home for me, i have a soft spot for the team.

“I always give them first priority, they have made me the player I am today. Dynamos is a big team and everyone wants to play for them.

“Ngezi gave me a better deal and I ended up settling for that,” said Murera.

Murera said he would like to play for Dynamos in the near future.

He was set for a reunion with former head coach Tonderai Ndiraya.

“Honestly I would be honoured to play for Dynamos but I had a lot to consider.

“Ngezi has been good to me and I am happy there. I did not see a good enough reason not to re-join them.

“I was looking forward to working again with coach Ndiraya. I will join them be it next season or later. This is not the end of my career,” he added.
