Dynamos might end up losing rookie youngster Emanuel Jalai amongst the youngsters who are on their way out if they don’t raise their stakes.

The Glamour Boys, who seek to build a formidable squad that will do duty in the 2020 season,  may lose the enterprising Jalai.

They are reported to have tabled poor offers to junior players and as a result, they are now looking for other options.

Jalai, Selemani Jarrison, Nigel Katawa, Tinotenda Muringani among others are some of the youngsters whose fate is unknown.

“We want to play for Dynamos, it’s an honor but in this day and age their salary even signing on fee is not enough.

“It’s not that we are being ungrateful but we are also trying to make a living here.

“We don’t have families yet, but we have parents who are expecting from us, yet with the salary they are tabling we cannot even afford to take care of me alone,” said one of the youngsters.

“Mari yavo haitombo kwanise kupedza kana mwedzi ichingoshanda kutransport chete. Wega gayawo sha, ipapo ndichitonzi ndikutambira the biggest club in the country,” added another player.

“The club is not being fair with us, personally I am not going back there, I am looking for other offers.

“I am not desperate, I could rather go back to the academy, it’s better than this,” said another youngster.

“The juniors are being offered signing on fees of three thousand RTGS (3000) while senior players like Partson Jaure were given five thousand USD (5000)

“Their monthly salary for the juniors is something like three hundred and forty bond( 340 RTGS) while Jaure is getting three hundred USD (300) and an equivalent of that in bond as well which is something like six thousand (6000).

“We know their salaries should not be the same,” said an insider close to the junior signings’ case.

The Glamour Boys did not live up to the expectations in the 2019 season, but relied on their juniors.

It saw the likes of Jalai, Muringani, Jarrison and Katawa making names for themselves, among other junior players.

They became regulars in the Dynamos team that did duty in the 2019 season.
