STAR midfielder Never Tigere has been linked with a move to Ngezi Platinum after his did not renew his contract with champions FC Platinum.
The Soccer Star of the Year finalist did not report for duty since the expiry of his contract at the end of last year.
Tigere was not part of FC Platinum team that played to a 1-1 draw against Al Ahly of Egypt in a CAF Champions League encounter at Barbourfields on Saturday.
And club spokesperson Chido Chizondo told H-Metro yesterday that there are no talks between the two parties – perhaps confirming the player has left.

“Never (Tigere) did not renew his contract and there are no talks,” said Chizondo.
Sources close to the player said the player has agreed terms with Ngezi as they assemble a team to fight for honours in the forthcoming season.
There are, however, emerging reports that he is eyeing a move to South Africa’s Absa Premiership, with a possible reunion with Norman Mapeza at Chippa United in the matrix.
“Never (Tigere) did not renew his contract with FC Platinum and has agreed terms with Ngezi. He is coach Rodwell Dhlakama’s priority and a deal is imminent.
“There are also talks of a possible move to South Africa but will likely not sail through this January. The player is no longer interested with a return to Mandava since they failed to agree on a new contract,” said the source.
Pure Platinum Play have brought in players like Last Jesi, Stanely Ngala and Ralph Kawondera.
