DEVON Chafa is reported to be on his way back to CAPS United after partying ways with FC Platinum at the end of the year.
H-Metro is reliably informed Chafa is on the verge of re-uniting with the 2016 champions while Harare City are also monitoring his situation.
With Chafa being a free agent and CAPS in the quest to build a championship challenging team, they did not hesitate to approach the star.

“Chafa is going to CAPS. Many teams are after his signature but it looks like he is eager to work closer to home.
“He is set to be Zato’s (Dominic Mukandi) replacement. He believes CAPS will help him achieve his personal set goals than any other team,” reveled the source.
The Green Machine are reported to be on witch hunt as they suspect some of the games were fixed in the fight for the championship last season.
Dominic Mukandi, Valentine Musarurwa and Buildcon’s new signing Joel Ngodzo are some of the players who are being fingered.
Meanwhile, CAPS regrouped yesterday where they are expected to start making big decisions on the team.
“The team regrouped yesterday and we will meet and share notes.
“By tomorrow (today) this time the team will be in a better position to share our progress on who we are bringing in and who is leaving.
“There are seven players who are out of contract and we are also yet to see whether we will extend contracts or we will part ways.
“A few players have been roped so far, we want to keep our deals private and confidential to avoid competition,” reveled an inside source.
Chafa left CAPS 2018 for Zambian side Buildcon before joining FC Platinum.
