ENGLISH Premier League clubs, Southampton and Bournemouth, have reportedly joined the race to sign Le Havre and Zimbabwean striker Tinotenda Kadewere.
French Ligue 1 side, Lyon, remain frontrunners as exclusively reported by this publication.
British media yesterday reported that the Saints and Cherries are pursuing the red-hot striker who celebrated his 24th birthday yesterday.
Kadewere is valued around £10million.

The Warriors man is enjoying a fine run at the Ligue 2 side, scoring 17 goals in 19 appearances, a feat that has seen a number of top clubs interested in his services.
A source close to the player yesterday said a number of clubs across Europe have expressed their interests but a move to Lyon is most likely.
Some of the clubs include Turkish giants Galatasaray and Scottish giants Celtic as well as clubs from Spain.
Indications, however, are that should English clubs continue pursuing his signature, he will be tempted to join fellow countryman Marvelous Nakamba who turns for Aston Villa in the Premier League.
And if a Lyon deal sails through, he will also join Marshal Munetsi who plies his trade at Stade de Reims in the French top-flight.
