Innocent Mucheneka has dumped Chicken Inn after the expiry of his contract to join CAPS United on a two-year deal as a free agent.

“Mucheneka has joined CAPS United. He signed a two-year deal.

“He was not happy at the Gamecocks. He once had an opportunity to play outside but it has emerged that his parent club set on the deal.

“CAPS offered him a good deal and he did not hesitate to sign, all he wanted was to be done with Chicken Inn,” added a source.

They are also believed to be at an advanced stage of roping in Enoch Karembo of Yadah.

CAPS have lost Dominic Chungwa, Joel Ngodzo to Zambia.

Dominic Mukandi, Hardlife Zvirekwi, Chris Mverechena are amongst the seven whose contracts have expired and they are not going to be renewed.
