A BOGUS Police Officer has been arrested for allegedly urinating on a minor and abusing a military card which did not belong to him.
The accused, Rangarirai Mambanye, 26, has since appeared at Concession Magistrates Court, Mashonaland Central where he pleaded guilty of impersonating a police officer, Peace officer or public official as defined in section 179 of the Criminal/ Codification and reform Act chapter 9 23.
Magistrate Nyasha Machiriori presided over the case.
The state represented by prosecutor Kumbirai Nyamvura alleges that on December 25 at Virginia Farm in Glendale, the accused was found urinating on an unknown young person who was lying on the ground unconsciously.

Accused and Lameck Fakizani (an eye witness) had an altercation over the issue of urinating on the young person.
The accused person produced a military Identity card that belongs to Shelton Mumbure and advised Fakizani that he was a member of Zimbabwe National Army.
The accused later on revealed that the military identity card belonged to his uncle who is a member of Zimbabwe National Army stationed in Gweru.
He was subsequently arrested and brought to court.
