President Emmerson Mnangagwa has paid condolences to the Mohadi family following the death of Steven Mohadi, brother to Vice President Kembo Mohadi.
President Mnangagwa was accompanied by Vice President Retired General Constantino Chiwenga when he visited the Mohadi family home in Greendale, Harare this evening.
President Mnangagwa described Steven, who died on Saturday, as a shining beacon of the country’s liberation struggle.
The President told the Mohadi family that they should continue to be united and uphold the principles of their late relative.
Retired General Chiwenga said there is need to cherish the works of the late Steven Mohadi and emulate his role for the liberation and development of the country.
Steven Mohadi is survived by his wife Emma, seven children and five grandchildren.
Meanwhile mourners are gathered at number 8, Victory Road in Greendale, Harare.
Burial announcements will be made in due course.
