South Africa based gospel singer, Prince Tinashe, has roped in award-winning artiste Takie Ndou in his new release tiled Chinjaiwo Nyaya yangu (Change my story).
The song is a prayer to God to change people’s stories following the hit by Covid-19 worldwide.
Tinashe rose from the mentorship of Prophet Walter Magaya while he was singing in the praise and worship team.
He thanked the church for giving him a platform to be a better singer.
“I worked on the single track Chinjaiwo Nyaya Yangu with Takie Ndou two Weeks ago and the response is amazingly overwhelming.
“It’s a song that I believe it’s everyone’s personal prayer as well especially in this life.
“There is something which you can think about, you lose sleep and you go into that private room to ask God saka nhai Mwari saka matozokundikana here?
“Until when in this situation, check the story of Hannah, the Story of Jabez, the story for the woman who had issue for 12 Years, the story of the man at the Pool of Bethesda so many examples,” he said.
Tinashe said, Covid-19 brought a lot of misery and God has to change the script of life.
“You see how the world has changed due to Covid-19, everything has changed, the way of living, working, relationships have changed because of this pandemic.
“So this is a prayer to God, to also change our stories so that we carry testimonies,” he added.
He rides on Itsika Yake Mwari while Ndou has won scooped several music awards for his album, ‘The Psalmist’, winning; Album of the year (Metro Awards), song of the year and best album of the year (Ingoma Awards) and best collaboration (Crown Gospel Awards).
