Gospel diva Janet Manyowa once maintained her dominance on the local music landscape after bagging two gongs at the 2021 Zimbabwe Music Awards held online.
Manyowa, who is no stranger to the winners’ podium owing to her consistence and hard work, was voted Best Female Artiste while her album Sounds of Victory came tops in the Best Album category.

Speaking through her husband and manager Munyaradzi Manyowa, her camp said winning gongs was a bonus.
“We are grateful for the two accolades that we won during these trying times with the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We will remain focused, continue working hard and winning the awards to us was indeed a bonus,” he said.
Other top female artistes who bagged accolades comprise Tahle Wedzinza who won the Best Alternative category and ShaSha (Best International Zim Artist) among others.
